On December 10, 2025, Pope Francis met a delegation of Raizes Teatro, on the occasion of the World Human Rights Day.
The delegation was made up of Alessandro Ienzi, art director, Amadou Diouf deaf performer arrived in Italy from Senegal in 2023 as unaccompanied minor and Yong Di Wang, chinese italian blind musician.
Raizes met the Pope along with a delegation from ResQ, NGO which is active in saving humans in the Mediterranean Sea.
